Private 12 days tour from Casablanca to Chefchaouen Via Marrakech. We will meet you at the airport on your arrival and take you to your hotel, After having your breakfast, we will drive to Marrakech through the highway, you will visit the garden Majorelle. Accommodation will be at a riad/hotel in Marrakech.
Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Casablanca - Marrakech
Merzouga Adventures organized Morocco Private tour with experienced drivers and guides. Our private Casablanca tour starts today and we pick up you from the airport/hotel and we drive to Marrakech. Here we will have a free program to discover this amazing city, often called the “Red City” because of its pink-tinted buildings. We spend this night in a local riad/hotel.
Day 2: Marrakech City Tour
After breakfast, we will have a full-day guided tour of Marrakech. You may enjoy also a horse-drawn carriage ride around the city ramparts. We will visit the Koutoubia minaret, the Majorelle Gardens, Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace, and also the Dar Si Said Palace museum of jewelry, leatherwork, carpets. We spend the night in a traditional riad/hotel in Marrakech.
Day 3: Marrakech - Tizi N'Tichka - Ait benhaddou - Ouarzazate
After breakfast you will head out towards the High Atlas Mountains, visiting Telouet Kasbah. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to visit the local people and wonderful places they reside and enjoy lunch at a mountainside restaurant. Thereafter, continue to the Kasbah Ait Benhaddou going through many tiny villages and the river of Telit. Spend the night in Ouarzazate.
Day 4: Ouarzazate - Dades Gorges - Todra Gorges
Today after visiting the cinema Atlas studio we travel to Todra Gorge, passing the beautiful oasis of Skoura with the exotic Kasbah Amerhidil. We visit Kelaa M'Gouna, famous for its rose products. After lunch in the Valley of Roses, we will drive through the beautiful route of 1000’s Kasbahs and then we continue further through Dades valley and Todra gorges. Stay the evening in a Berber guest house Kasbah.
Day 5: Todra Gorges - Merzouga Desert
Today, after breakfast you will explore the amazing Todra Gorges then travel to Tinghir where you can walk amongst the beautiful oasis palm trees. We continue to Erfoud, where we will see fossils products, and factories. We head to the small city of Rissani and then we continue to Merzouga where we spend a night in a desert riad/hotel.
Day 6: Merzouga Desert
Today after breakfast we start our Casablanca private tour exploring the desert of Merzouga. We will visit Khamlia village famous for its local Gnawa people. Here we will learn about their famous traditional music, then we continue by visiting the Nomad family living in the desert. We also will drive to Rissani - a fortified village. Here we explore a traditional souk where locals selling spices, vegetables, and clothes. We drive back to the Merzouga and in the afternoon, we will ride camels to the desert. We will be guided by an experienced camel guide to exploring the highest sand dunes in Morocco. We may walk to the high dune to watch the sunset over the dunes. After we reach desert camp we will enjoy dinner around the campfire with Berber music and we stay overnight in desert camp.
Day 7: MERZOUGA – Rissani - Erfoud - Midelt
After an early wake-up, we watch spectacular sunrise in the desert and then we ride camels back to Merzouga. After breakfast, we continue our private Morocco tour towards Rissani, Erfoud, and Midelt, which is famous for its mineral products. We stay this evening in Midelt at a local riad/kasbah.
Day 8: Midelt - Ifrane - Fes
After breakfast, we travel to Fes passing the Middle Atlas mountains, and Azrou. We will have the opportunity to walk through the largest forest of cedar trees inhabited by monkeys. We will visit Ifrane, a famous ski resort. Later we will visit the Famous Museum of Dar el Batha and the panoramic Kasbah, and we stay overnight in a local hotel/riad in Fes.
Day 9: EXPLORING FES
Today our private Morocco tour continues guided tour of Fes, and we will explore the ramparts of Fes, see the Tomb of the Merinids, visit the 14th-century Bou Inania Medersa and the museum. We will enjoy lunch in the Medina and then we explore Fez tannery, the mosques, the Fondouks where the donkeys and their owners gather, and the infinite variety of merchandise of handcrafts and edible goods to copperware and pottery. We spend this night in Fes.
Day 10: FES – CHEFCHAOUEN
Today our private Casablanca tour continues driving to Chefchaouan, which is one of the stunning villages at the feet of the Rif mountains. Chefchaouen medina has a Spanish-style square surrounded by arts and crafts stores. You can relax at a rooftop restaurant or cafe. We will spend this night in a traditional Moroccan riad.
Day 11: Exploring Chefchaouen
Today our private Casablanca tour continues and you will have a free program in Chefchaouen in this small mountain. It is considered one of Morocco's prettiest towns and its walls painted in blue color. It is very easy to explore medina in Chefchaouen. In the heart of the Medina is the main square called Utta el-Hammam, which is the perfect place to stop for lunch or dinner. We stay overnight in the medina in local riad.
Day 12: Chefchaouen - Casablanca Airport
Today our private Morocco tour finishes in Casablanca. We depart after breakfast for Casablanca, founded in 1912 and Morocco’s principal commercial town, to view the Hassan II Mosque, the world’s largest mosque. Then we transfer you to the hotel or airport.
