Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Fez – Midelt – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga
Today our private Morocco tour from Fez starts in the morning and we depart towards the Middle Atlas mountains visiting the town of Ifrane. It is called as Switzerland of Morocco for its unique atmosphere. Then we will pass the cedar forests in Azrou where we may see monkeys. We head to Midelt, famous for minerals and apples. Then we pass a few small cities and province capital Errachidia to reach Ziz valley. We will visit Erfoud city, famous for its fossil products and factories. We head to Rissani and then Merzouga desert. In Merzouga, we ride camels to reach desert camp and we will enjoy this night in desert camp. You may watch the sunset over the dunes in the Sahara desert.
Day 2: Merzouga desert – Rissani – Midelt – Fez
We will wake up early to enjoy a magnificent sunrise on the dunes then take a camel ride back to the hotel. After freshening up and breakfast we’ll leave for Fes through Ziz Valley and the Middle Atlas mountains, cedar forests of Azrou, and stop to hand feed the monkeys. We will continue via Ifrane, the ‘Switzerland of Morocco’ to arrive early evening to Fes where our private Morocco tour ends
