Tour Itinerary
Day 1: TANGER – CHEFCHAOUEN
Merzouga Adventures organized Morocco Private tour with experienced drivers and guides. Today we pick up you from the airport, the ferry port or your hotel and we travel to the small fortress town called Chefchaouen. Its buildings and houses are all painted in blue and white and it is one of the most beautiful towns in the Rif mountains. You will have free time to explore Chefchaouen. We spend this night in a local riad /hotel in the medina.
Day 2: EXPLORING CHEFCHAOUEN
Today you will have a free program in Chefchaouen in this small mountain. It is considered one of Morocco’s prettiest towns and its walls painted in blue color. It is very easy to explore medina in Chefchaouen. In the heart of the Medina is the main square called Utta el-Hammam, which is the perfect place to stop for lunch or dinner. We stay overnight in the medina in local riad.
Day 3: CHEFCHAOUEN – FEZ
Our private Morocco tour continues to Fez, the former Imperial city. The city of Fes is also one of the first holy cities of Muslim worship in Morocco. It has also one of the oldest universities in the world. We will explore the main tourist attractions and important monuments. In the afternoon you will have free time to relax. We stay here overnight in the local Riad hôtel.
Day 4: EXPLORING FEZ
Most of the morning will be spent visiting the medina (the old city) and its alleys. Your visit starts by visiting the Jewish Quarter (the Mellah) and the Royal Palace (yard), which is the biggest one in the country. You will be visiting the famous tanneries and the Quaraouine mosque considered the first university in the world. After lunch, in a typical Moroccan restaurant in Medina, you’ll experience a wonderful panoramic view of the city. Overnight accommodation will be at the same riad.
Day 5: FEZ - RABAT – CASABLANCA
Today our private Morocco tour continues towards Meknes, a former Imperial city and we will have a short tour of the medina and other important places. Then we head to Rabat, the capital. We continue our Morocco tour to Casablanca, where we explore Hassan II mosque. We stay in Casablanca overnight in a local hotel.
Day 6: CASABLANCA – ASSILAH – TANGIER
After breakfast, we continue our private Morocco tour along the Atlantic coast and we visit Assilah, a small coastal city, famous for its annual festival of graffiti. Then we continue to Tangier where our private Morocco tour ends.
